A graceful Spanish commode in the Louis XVI manner, painted in a soft distressed pink with white undertones that has mellowed to a beautifully chalky, time-worn finish. The piece features three generous drawers with simple brass hardware, tapered legs, and a white marble top — the quintessential combination of the refined French provincial interior. Pink painted surface completed by a recently deceased French master painter - this was his last piece to finish.
